Waiting at QUT front gate.

Today is the day that I have waited. I joined the breakaway trip to Sunshine Coast in Queensland, a beach which is as famous as Gold Coast in Australia but just different in terms of location, size and people! This event was organized by CCM - Campus Christian Movement which is a student body and extremely active religious club in most of the universities in Australia and I believe throughout the world. There are three Unis joining this trip namely UQ, QUT and one from Ipswich. 7 buses from UQ and QUT and a van from Ipswich. A shocking number for the beach visitors as our arrival gave them a big big stun. Anyway, all participants reached their very own venue to gather around 8am in the morning. We hit the road by 9am and the whole journey took us more than an hour. We have light Q&A and games on the bus. I won 2 snickers and a small packet of chocolate. Lolz. It's fun! Upon reaching the Sunshine Beach, we are all ready to indulge ourselves in the deep blue sea and sparkling beach. There were a lot visitors as well mostly swimming, sun-bathing as well as wind-surfing. After taking some group photos which was pretty difficult due to our number, each CCM ran their respective programme. Our programme was to choose, build and decorate a mermaid but the mermaid must be a real person. So below are some photos taken. =)

Throughout the day, I have wonderful moments playing different types of games such as Captain's Ball, beach volley, monkey and the highlight - Beach Soccer. Well, for your information, Sing Hoe scored two goals. Not really sure whether if I got sunburn but currently I am pretty fine, by God's grace. After all, we packed, cleaned up and made a beeline for home in the late evening. Such a awesome day. Thanks to all the participants and the event organizers for your hard works!
